Upcoming: FREE Online Naloxone Training 3/1

Join us online March 1 at 6:00 p.m. This 1-hour class prepares you to save the life of a suspected opioid/heroin overdose patient using a nasal spray.

The FREE overdose reversal kit will be sent to you upon completion of the training session. Registration is limited to 25 participants, so register soon.

WHEN:DFCC presented naloxone training on 2/1 to a full class of Webster residents and scheduled this additional training session due to overwhelming demand. The class is taught by our very own WHEN:DFCC Steering Committee member, Jason Teller, who is an Addictions Specialist for Monroe County Office of Mental Health and a wealth of information and expertise. Don't miss this opportunity!

Steve received our "WHEN you go above & beyond" recognition for initiating, researching, and preparing our community survey! Steve utilized several resources and coordinated with other critical volunteers on this project. Data collected will assist WHEN with identifying where to focus our efforts in 2021, help us understand the impact of the pandemic on underage substance misuse in Webster, and gain insight into adult perceptions of risk to Webster youth.

Check out Operation Parent's excellent February webinars! Don't forget, even if you can't attend the live presentation, they will send everyone who registered a link to view the recorded event.
