Make your RRW activities count.

"One-off" programs tend not to be the most effective. So make the most of your RRW activities by structuring them to reiterate existing school and community programs, themes, and language. This way, they build upon each other, strengthening and highlighting important messages.

Impactful RRW programs are thoughtfully planned to grow drug prevention literacy each year so that both students and families become strong advocates for healthy choices and develop skills to help them avoid problems, identify red flags, and know how and when to seek help.

Red Ribbon Week is the United State’s largest and longest-running drug prevention awareness campaign, which began as a tribute to fallen DEA special agent Enrique Camerena in 1985.
